Internet Development Institute

The Internet Development Institute has supported an ambitious project of computer translation into sign language. Structura Group, NSTU and Adapts acted as innovators in social entrepreneurship. We are pleased to present our joint efforts to both the target audience and everyone who is interested in augmented reality, neural networks and artificial intelligence.

Today, there are more than 500 deaf people per sign language translator in Russia. We have set ourselves the task of launching a virtual assistant for public access, which will be available 24/7. Already now we are publishing products based on our basic technology of translation from sounding to gestural. Pilot launches are planned not only on the Internet, but also in real life. Already this year it will be possible to see a computer translator in the park at VDNH!

We thank our partners for their support!

«We, as consumers of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf, are customers of the innovative product that will now be introduced into our society and into all spheres of life. We work closely with NSTU NETI and it is very nice that the university always keeps in touch with us, is interested in our opinion and advises. Our Society of the Deaf is ready to help implement this method of translation,» said Stanislav Ivanov, president of the All–Russian Public Organization of the Disabled «All-Russian Society of the Deaf».
